Works in progress update

Concreting works of the first reinforced concrete flat slab for the typical office block floor plate took place during the end of March with works commencing at 0400 with around 7hrs of continuous casting.

Reinforcement for the first office flat slab completed and the area being prepared for the casting operation. One can also observe the pipe network for the various loops in the TABS (Thermally Activated Building System) installation which will be the main form of conditioning for Trident Park.

Sub-structure works for Building A1 in progress with the concrete bases and columns being prepared for casting. The retained listed façade which will be restored and incorporated in the works can be seen in the background.

Temporary manifolds for the TABS pipes in place. The system remains charged throughout the duration of the concreting works and the curing period of concrete slabs.

Concreting of the final portion of the flat slab being executed, whilst the power floating of the surface takes place on the areas of the slab which is setting.

Concreting of the first section for the flat slab for Building A3 being carried out. A section of the TABS piping network can be seen partly encased in the concrete section.
